Mechanical Design Engineer

My client is a leading Building Services consultancy who work on a range of projects for a variety of clients. My client has the exciting opportunity of an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer to join their offices in Leeds.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Delivering projects alongside Revit and Building service engineers
  • Work alongside clients and professional teams to develop and maintain working relationships
  • Keep updated knowledge on current industry regulatory and design standards
  • Provide detailed mechanical services design and assist with design strategy
  • Produce load calculations, apply for utility connections, and carry out site quality and legislative inspections for reports

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Either working towards or achieved chartered status for a professional body such as CIBSE
  • MEng or HND within a Mechanical or Building Services engineering field
  • Relevant experience within a Mechanical Design Engineer role with experience using industry design software such as Revit
  • Excellent Communication and organizational skills
  • Full UK driving license
