Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD Engineer

We are looking for an organised and experienced CAD Engineer with extensive Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD experience who has a good knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

• Generating manufacturing drawings using 3D Inventor/ AutoCAD to a high standard

• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials

• General Layout and Proposal models and drawings.

• Preparation of O&M manuals and Technical files

• Revision/Version control of drawings and documentation

The Person

You will have a strong attention to detail and have an efficient and organised approach to their work. Along with this, the successful candidate must be able to work to deadlines and flexibility to be able to switch context quickly and accurately.

Experience within at least 2 of the following areas is required for this position:

• Sheet Metal Fabrication

• Machining Principles and Tolerancing

• Machinery e.g. Screw Conveyors

• Structural Steelwork

• Pipework and Ducting
