Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of special purpose and automated machinery based in the Bradford area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing automated machinery with the use of Solidworks, and it's anticipated the successful candidate will be experienced with machinery design.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview

  • Designing automated machinery and tooling for the production team
  • Reviewing customers requirements to produce machinery specifications
  • Producing design documentation
  • Specifying required components for projects
  • Liaising closely with customers, production and design teams

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements

  • Proven background in the design of special purpose machinery
  • Based in a commutable distance of Bradford
  • Proficient with Solidworks 3D modelling software
  • Experience with Bill of Materials
  • HNC or above in a Design / Mechanical related subject

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
  • Holiday allowance and pension
