Position: Mechanical Design/CAD Engineer
Location: London, UK
Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
Type: Hybrid (London area)

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD to create detailed 3D models and produce 2D drawings for construction purposes.
• Develop innovative mechanical designs and solutions for offshore wind and renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and functionality.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all design work.
• Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design/CAD Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry or renewables industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of civil construction industry practices is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of steelwork and/or concrete fabrication drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
