Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Pinchbeck, Spalding

Salary: £12.00 - £14.00 per hour

Hours: 8:00pm to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

Our clientwas established in 2022 to offer innovative agricultural solutions and to incorporate Simtech UK and Tillso machinery under one name working alongside the sister company.

They’re on the lookout for a driven Assembly Technician to become an integral part of their expanding team! As an Assembly Technician, you’ll be instrumental in the production process, from initial assembly to delivering top-notch finished products.

The Role

  • Assemble parts and components following detailed instructions and engineering specifications
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and functionality
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve any assembly-related issues that may arise
  • Maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace, in line with our safety protocols
  • Occasional foreign travel to fix, maintain and assemble machines at dealers’ premises

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable assembly role would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to follow complex instructions
  • A proactive problem-solving approach
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
