Due to continued success they currently have some great opportunities for Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join the team.

About the Business:
You will work within a team to build and assemble machinery intended for the food industry. You will join a team of around assembly technicians and will report to the Assembly Manger.

As one of their Assembly Technician's, you will be based on site, but you will also be required to communicate with other departments across the other buildings.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
* Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
* Ensure machinery is fully PDI'd and tested prior to delivery.
* Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
* Being self-disciplined, proactive, and hard working.
* High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
* Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
* Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
* Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
* On-site commissioning and customer training.

Experience:
* Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main
* assemblies.
* Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
* Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate.
* Can carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of company equipment.
* General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
* Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.

Shift Pattern/Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. 40 hours per week.
