Mechanical Assembly Fitter

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitter, the role is permanent and paid monthly + OT.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving license as part of the role will be traveling to complete installations at customer’s premises - mainly in the UK - all travel expenses paid and arranged by the company.

£33,000 pa + overtime paid at time and half

Night out money - £50 pm

39 hour basic working week.

The role is to assist with the manufacture of machinery. The ideal will suit candidates with experience of machine building.

Duties will include:

To assist with the building and commissioning of factory machinery

To assemble, install and fit mechanical components

Candidates must be able to

• read engineering drawings
• possess high standard of work
• good general hands on mechanical skills - drilling, cutting and component assembly
• Understanding of basic control systems - pneumatic and hydraulic
