Measured Building Surveyor, Cannock £35k

A well established multi-disciplinary consultancy with a number of high profile, well-known clients requires a Surveyor to carry out primariliy measured building surveys. Joining a team of 5 in the survey team, you will be working in the retail, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors, in addition to this there will be some occasional topographical surveys to complete.You will also lead the work on BIM modelling of surveyed sites so a good understanding of working in 3D with appropriate software (Cloudworx, Revit, Recap, Cyclone etc) would be needed.

This is an excellent company to work for with a good team and they are expanding, there is a real opportunity to develop yourself here. Within the role you will be afforded flexibility to manage your own workload and it is envisaged you will be out of the office 2-3 days a week on site. You will also assist the head of the team in managing junior members of staff and growing this part of the business.

You will carry out these surveys using Laser Scanning and Total Station solutions on empty sites and also vacant and occupied buildings.

Experience Required

  • Relevant degree
  • At least 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Total Station & Laser Scanning
  • AutoCAD
  • Experience of either Cloudworx, Revit, Recap, Cyclone
