My client is a consulting firm working on a large scale, complex public sector infrastructure client data transformation programme. They've got a need for a contract MDM Data Architect to carry out an investigative modelling assignment.

What you’ll be doing

You'll work with Consulting partners and the end client to create enterprise data models to support the clients' understanding of the data lineage of this organisation. You'll work to document physical, logical and conceptual data models, as well as looking at ontological models. This work will support the client in designing & implementing the best fit for purpose MDM platform and operating model going forward.You'll need to be able to start this contract within 7 working days. 
What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Extensive experience working on MDM projects
  • Multiple years experience in data archtitecture
  • Solid hands on skills creating physical, logical & conceptual enterprise data models
  • Experience using Sparx or UML for modelling
  • Worked with complex and siloed data organisations
  • Experience with semantic modelling, ontologies or taxonomies preferred
What you’ll get in return for your experience 

A day rate of £550 - £600 inside IR35 - dependent on experience
Initial contract running until end of June with a likely extension
