MATRON

Part-time, Term time.

Cranleigh School is a leading fully co-educational independent boarding and day Senior School consisting of around 690 girls and boys of 13 - 18 years of age. There is also a Preparatory School on the opposite side of the road which has around 320 girls and boys.

Cranleigh School is seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Matron to become part of our successful and dynamic boarding team.

You will provide a welcoming presence, pastoral care, health care and oversee domestic arrangements for a boarding house.

At least two matrons are employed in each House whose duties are divided equally. There is a matron on duty from 7:30am until 3:00pm and then 3:00pm until 10:00pm every weekday (with a handover in between) and on Saturday mornings from 7.30am until 11.15am. This role is for approximately 19 hours per week and on a rotating shift basis. Rotation of shifts is flexible and would be discussed at interview.

A Car owner is required and you must be willing to work flexible shifts during the day, evenings & Saturday mornings (non-residential post).
