Maths Teacher - Eastbourne - September 2024

A mixed gender public secondary school with over 1000 children on-roll is seeking an enthusiastic and intuitive Maths Teacher to join their team in September. The school is located in a lovely area of Eastbourne which is super easy to get to from the Town Centre by walking or bus.

Your responsibilities as a Maths Teacher will include:

* Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum for Maths
* Adaptability to ensure students are challenged depending of their varying needs
* Preparing and explaining homework exercises that will further expand the topic knowledge
* Marking and providing clear and concise feedback on completed work in a timely fashion
* Effective management of classroom behaviour and keeping a positive learning atmosphere

Key requirements for the position include:

* DBS - In date, with no reprimands which prohibit working with children
* Relevant qualifications - a degree along with relevant teaching qualifications (ie PGCE)
* QTS is desirable - ECT applications are warmly welcomed
* Experience of teaching Maths is essential
