Are you an experienced and passionate educator with a strong background in A-Level Maths and Further Maths? Join a prestigious secondary school in Redbridge as we seek a talented A-Level Maths and Further Maths Teacher to inspire and guide our students starting September 2024.

Position: A-Level Maths and Further Maths Teacher

Location: Redbridge

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Permanent/Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive A-Level Maths and Further Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students.
• Plan and implement a curriculum that covers key topics in both Maths and Further Maths, ensuring students are well-prepared for examinations and beyond.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them develop problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to monitor student progress, set targets, and provide feedback to support their academic growth.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Mathematics education.
• Proven experience teaching A-Level Maths and Further Maths, with a track record of helping students achieve excellent results.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in Maths education.
