Maths Teacher – Permanent September 2024
Maths isn’t always every child’s favourite subject at school, but with the right teacher, every child an learn to enjoy maths! Are you that Maths Teacher? This secondary school with 800 students is looking for a Maths Teacher who is passionate about inspiring a love for Maths and is able deliver lessons that stretch and engage students. As a Maths Teacher at this school, you will teaching Maths up to GCSE across both Key Stage 3 & 4. 

This small team of experienced Maths Teachers are passionate about their subject and the HOD is looking for a like-minded Maths Teacher to join the team! Behaviour is generally quite good at this school, and you will be given the freedom to “think outside the Box” to deliver lessons that get the most out of your students. Resources are excellent and you will be given ample support form a dedicated head of maths who is determined to show every student that maths is not only useful, but it can also be fun! This role requires a Qualified Maths Teacher with an excellent understanding of the current mathematics curriculum.  
Job Role:
  • Teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Planning engaging lessons with the support of an experienced team and HOD
  • Delivering lessons that motivate students and inspire a love for Maths
  • Making Maths interesting and accessible to all learners of mixed abilities
  • Taking part in whole school CPD and ongoing training
