As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Our ideal candidate is not only well-versed in the subject matter but also enthusiastic about making math accessible and enjoyable for students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality maths lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
  2. Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to thrive.
  3. Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make math relevant and engaging for students.
  4. Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
  5. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Teaching certification in Mathematics.
  • PGCE/QTS/QTLS
  • Previous experience of teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred, not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
