Maths Teacher

• Salary Range: MPR £36,745 - £47,666 / UPR £52,526 - £56,959

We are seeking dynamic and passionate Maths Teachers for various secondary schools in South East London, starting this September. This role is an excellent opportunity for educators who are committed to inspiring students and making a substantial impact on their academic progress.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students of varying backgrounds and abilities, ensuring high levels of engagement and effective learning.
• Create lesson plans that comply with the national curriculum and cater to a range of learning needs.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives that enrich the educational experience.
• Participate in meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and strategies for support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level.
• A thorough understanding of Mathematics.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Advocacy for inclusive and differentiated instruction to meet all students’ needs.
