Maths teacher - Salford

A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Salford, to join them on a full-time basis for 12 months, teaching key stage 3 & 4 ASAP, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full time basis.

This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Salford teachers.

You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. This school teaches with a key focus on an investigative approach that compliments their well research pedagogy. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.

Many pupils are happy and proud to attend the school. Supportive relationships with teachers help most pupils to feel safe in school. During the last year, senior leaders have successfully worked to raise teachers' expectations of what pupils can achieve. Many pupils follow teachers' instructions and listen attentively in class. There are lots of lunchtime and after-school activities in which pupils can take part. For example, some pupils make the most of clubs, such as volleyball, weightlifting, table tennis and ceramics.
