Maths Teacher

A secondary school in Camden are looking for a long-term Maths Teacher teaching mostly key stage 3. This is a full-time Maths Teacher role, and you would be expected to come in and hit the ground running, therefore previous experience teaching maths at the secondary level is highly desirable. There may also be some general cover required one day a week, so flexibility is highly desirable as well.

The Role:

• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum.
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
• As a Maths Teacher, you must have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience teaching maths at the secondary level.
• As a Maths Teacher, you must have a genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
