We are inviting a passionate Maths Teacher to join our nurturing and inclusive specialist school. This role is ideal for an individual who is dedicated to supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs and who thrives in an environment that challenges and rewards in equal measure.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Prepare pupils for their GCSE exams following the national curriculum.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and personal development of pupils.
  • Work closely with other staff and external agencies to support the overall well-being of pupils.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • QTS/QTLS or equivalent qualification; FE qualifications may be considered if subject-specific to English, Maths, or PSHE.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH or similar needs.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
