Location: North Shields

Salary: £130 - £170 per day

Contract: Full Time, Temporary

GSL Education invites applications for the position of a Math Teacher at a secondary school in Ashington. The role requires delivering high-quality education to students and helping them achieve their potential in the subject.

Job Summary:

  • Teach Math to students across KS3 and KS4, preparing them for GCSE exams.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Assess and record students' progress and prepare them for examinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop curriculum materials that align with current standards.
  • Utilize various teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school policies and establish a

strong rapport with students.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Mathematics.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of effective teaching and delivering positive student outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Math curriculum and assessment frameworks.

Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
