Job responsibilities:
Maintain a positive, accepting attitude in working with pupils.
Guide pupils in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to pupils on their mathematical work and progress.
Design and administer assessments to evaluate pupil's understanding and progress in the subject.
Conduct assessments such as quizzes, tests, observations, and pupil's work samples.
Incorporate hands-on activities, games, and visual aids to make mathematics enjoyable and accessible to pupils.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on pupils progress, discuss concerns.

Preferred skills:
Should have strong mathematical knowledge.
Patience in explaining concepts and empathy towards pupils who may struggle with mathematics help create a supportive learning environment.
Should be able to maintain order and discipline in the classroom.
Creative in designing innovative lesson plans, activities, and projects to make mathematics interesting.

Requirements:
PGCE and QTS.
An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ) .
Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
Excellent planning and organisation skills.
