Our client is a national material testing partner to the construction industry. The successful candidate will produce test results in accordance with documented procedures, standards and specifications. To ensure that the laboratory is maintained in compliance with UKAS and Company standards.

Location: Based in Doncaster but will be expected to travel to customer sites. Van is provided.

Material Testing Technician Duties:
- To work in a safe manner that is in accordance with the Company Health & Safety
Policy.
- To carry out allocated work as directed by the Laboratory Manager in accordance with documented in-house procedures, in an expeditious manner.
- To integrate into the team and maintain a strong harmony and morale throughout
the laboratory.
- To ensure the control of incoming and stored test specimens.
- To liaise with the Laboratory Manager as appropriate, in the day to day running of the laboratory.
- To assist in the maintenance of records relating to the Management System.
- To ensure that subordinate staff are adequately trained and authorised in the duties they perform and carry out training as required.
- To test materials and maintain a working knowledge of sampling and test procedures.
- The Senior Technician shall assume the responsibilities of other Senior Technician(s) in their absence.

Material Testing Technician Requirement:
- Experience of working in laboratory environment
- Understands demands of 17025 accredited laboratory.
- Technical Understanding of construction testing overseen within role

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday days (flexibility required.)
