Company Profile

An independent, family run manufacturing business are looking to recruit a Materials Planner to join the team. Currently experiencing rapid growth due to recently diversifying into various markets included sporting, leisure and security.



What will you do as Materials Planner?

  • Planning and securing the raw materials for products
  • Maintaining the MIE Trak MRP
  • Monitoring inventory, reviewing orders and consulting with other departments regarding sales, production and shipping
  • Keeping an accurate record on the MRP system for all stock, materials and parts
  • Obtain up to date pricing information from suppliers
  • Assist the Directors in developing standard operating procedures in relation to the MRP system

What do you need as a Material Planner?

  • Able to implement new systems for using the MRP
  • Working as a Material Planner in a manufacturing environment
  • Previously have worked importing raw materials from overseas
  • Experienced working with MRP systems
  • Able to work in a standalone position
