We are currently seeking an experienced, hard-working and motivated individual with the highest level of integrity to join the EMEA Operations team. Our client offers a fast-paced environment with heavy responsibility and the opportunity for growth.

Key Responsibilities

Leading a team of Raw Material planners, the Raw Material Planning Manager is responsible for all aspects of Raw Materials across EMEA. This role has a large spend and significant impact on the P&L through ensuring Raw Material availability to meet EMEA’s high growth and mitigating variable costs: product obsolescence, expedited transport and right first time POs, with clean invoices to ensure prompt payment.

  • Manage, coach and develop Raw Materials into a high performing driving added value and continuous improvements.
  • Responsible for driving robust development plans of the team managing talent review.
  • Contribute to Plan to Production team objectives and set individual objectives and assess ongoing performance.
  • Develop and Set KPIs for the function leveraging Business Intelligence tools to assess ongoing performance of the team and the individuals.
  • Business Process Owner for End-To-End Raw Materials
  • Generate MRP Requirements and conduct periodic supply reviews with key suppliers to provide visibility of requirements and to track & improve supplier performance
  • Manage Purchase Order Life Cycle for Raw Material supply from initial purchase through to delivery and receipt of the product
  • Minimise obsolescence through preventative measures and management of ageing inventory through close collaboration with quality, suppliers, inventory and facilitating trade-offs as to whether to turn into Finished Goods.
  • Act as the point of escalation for all supplier related service issues.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of inventory across all locations that store or consume raw materials to alleviate unnecessary inventories and optimise existing inventories.

Your Profile

  • Understanding of the special challenges presented by a complex and dynamic product matrix
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a materials planning team within a progressive development environment.
  • Understanding of logistics techniques, strategies and their applications toward minimizing delivered cost.
  • Possession of excellent analytical and organisational skills.
  • Possession of excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to understand and utilise data provided by the Company and by industry sources toward achieving success.
  • Ability to utilise appropriate technology toward predicting, tracking, and reporting functional performance.
  • Thorough understanding of Company policies, practices, and procedures as these relate to business unit performance.
  • Willingness to accept and perform extra-business unit tasks that may from time-to-time be assigned.
  • Prior SAP experience with MRP and PO life cycle processes.
