Marquee Rigger

Here at Impact Recruitment, we are looking for skilled labourers to work for a client based in Northampton. This is a temp to perm opportunity working as part of a team who specialise in the erection of temporary structures such as marquees, buildings, and office structures. IN the role you will have the opportunity to work overtime. MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENSE.

For the role you will need to have experience in a construction on labouring type role and be a hands-on worker. Ideal experience would include scaffolding, marquee work, roofing, or events. This position will be working LOTS of overtime which is paid at a premium rate and will involve travel around the UK and abroad using company vehicles.

Pay Rates:

• £12.38 per hour.
• £15.48 per hour after 8 hours per day.
• Weekend pay up to £24.76 per hour.
• Daily Bonus Available (Up to £19 per day).

Location: Northampton based yard

Hours: Monday - Friday with overtime on weekends. Will require early mornings and evening work.

Duties:

• Working in a team and taking responsibility.
• Erect and assemble metal buildings according to blueprints and specifications.
• Loading and unloading vehicles with structure parts.
• Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment to assemble building materials.
• Follow site health & safety.

Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• You will be expected to work varying hours including attending site early in the morning and working into the evening.
• The role will require weekend work, paid at overtime rates.
• Must have a driving license.
• Must have an in-date passport.
• Preferably have construction-based tickets (Forklift, telehandler, Slinger Signaller, Crane Lift, First Aid, Banksman, Vehicle Marshall, NPORS, IPAF)

All travel costs and hotel stays will be paid for by the client.
