We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated marketer to join a rapidly growing software business as their Marketing Manager.

Founded in 2016, and head-quartered in London, with additional offices Germany and Spain, (and expansion planned for the US) the business provides data integration and AI capability to the FS market.

Building on recent growth, the business is looking to grow its marketing capability with a new Marketing Manager.

This person will be the first fully dedicated marketing specialist, so this role offers a rare opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career to work with an unusual amount of autonomy and influence.

Working with the CMO, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing and executing a multi-channel marketing plan, with a particular focus on data, email and LinkedIn advertising.

Although the Marketing Manager will cover any aspect of marcomms required, their primary focus will be new business: identifying target audience(s), enhancing data to build a picture of target organisations and profiles, then carrying out activity to build awareness and ultimately pre-qualify them for the next stage of qualification by the Sales team.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in general marcomms, data and reporting who is looking to take a step up and gain more senior exposure than they otherwise would in a larger organisation. Above all, they must bring a hunger and drive to match the ambitions of the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute the marketing plan - work with subject matter experts to develop content and deploy it via the most suitable channels
  • Keep the marketing plan updated as detailed elements are confirmed, provide useful and timely MI on performance to inform future activity
  • Build relationships with Sales and Client Services to ensure that the process from identifying a target to converting and onboarding is seamless, and messaging is consistent
  • Work with Sales to provide sales collateral to support their own outreach and conversion activity, from key sales decks to support materials
  • Become a Salesforce power user, keeping it up to date from a marketing perspective but also supporting on data hygieneand best practice

Candidate requirements:

  • Several years of solid marketing experience in tech/SaaS, data or a similar B2B sales environment
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and a very strong work ethic
  • Enthusiasm for the product and business and ability to learn quickly
  • Highly professional and articulate written and verbal comms with a confident presentation style
  • Collaborative and flexible in working style - able to adapt and experiment with new approaches
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Previous knowledge of Private Markets dynamics and personas is beneficial but not essential
