Marketing Manager
Are you a B2B marketing professional looking to take the lead of a well established manufacturers marketing strategy?
Our client is a leading manufacturer in their sector and is looking for a results-driven marketing professional to lead their growing marketing team as Marketing Manager.
The successful candidate will have expertise in brand development, creative direction, and the creation and execution of key marketing strategies. They will also have experience in data analysis, digital marketing and social media.
What will you be doing?
Ensure the brand is positioned in line with the goal of the business. Manage and develop the marketing team to deliver these objectives through creative solutions across all media channels, print, email, web. Manage product data and analysis sales by product and customers to develop range strategies.
- Plan and implement marketing strategies through multiple channels such as but not limited to Catalogue design, web development, print advertising, mail shot, trade shows.
- Brand development and positioning
- Manage internal and external communication such as newsletters, articles.
- Manage product campaigns and events in line with product developments.
- Assessing the results of marketing campaigns.
- Managing departmental cost centres and advertising budgets.
- Development of social media and online strategy.
- Identifying new market opportunities.
- Review competitor activity and identify product development opportunities.
- Maintain annual price files and product marketing data.
- Manage departmental budgets, manning frames and capacity planning in line with the companies’ strategical objectives.
- Driving profit improvement plans with in your department.
- Working with IT to develop and enhance further the systems.
- Completing KPI data and reporting to the shareholders and directors on a regular basis.
- Working closely with the senior management team across all areas of the business.
Requirements:
- Experience in B2B marketing (essential)
- Degree level qualification in marketing
- The ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines.
- Proactive, positive and supportive of colleagues
- Well organised with effective project management skills and commercially intuitive
- Good analytical skills with the ability to understand data, show initiative and communicate findings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate well with other departments and stakeholders.
