St. Austell Brewery is recruiting for an exciting new job opportunity within our experienced Marketing Team. You’ll be an engaging Marketing Executive and able to drive forward a newly created role to add value to our Business Partners (Tenants within our Leased and Tenanted estate). You’ll thrive in sharing the latest marketing and hospitality advancements with our BPs to help them maximise footfall, all year round. You’ll spend time in trade getting close to the action, and in order to fully understand where you can make the most impact across our varied pub estate. The role will also be promoting our pub estate to future business partners. 

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our BPs can properly market and drive awareness of their site. This is a busy and varied role which is made for an outgoing individual who excels in copywriting (to engage), is creative with their thinking and is a true passionate champion of hospitality.

About You

  • Leading Business Partner marketing contact and add value with the development and implementation of annual pub brand marketing plans.
  • Working collaboratively with our Business Development Managers (BDMs), spending a good proportion of your time out in trade to get closer to our BPs and add the right marketing value.
  • Leading the regular BDM / marketing planning meetings ensuring there is progress between meetings. 
  • Be responsible for the regular BP newsletters (copywriting and content planning) and manage the specific database in Airship, our new CRM.
  • Playing a key role in supporting with the delivery of trade events and shows which support our pub estate and engage our current BPs.
  • Being the key conduit in the marketing and comms team responsible for coordinating all outgoing promotion and support of our tenants.
  • Work closely with our insights and category manager to ensure tenants are privy to the latest industry trends and insights across hospitality.
  • Help facilitate and deliver digital marketing training ensuring tenants are confident about driving maximum impact and engagement on their business social channels.
  • Support with the marketing of tenant recruitment, working collaboratively with the operations team.
  • Drive own brand engagement through creative assets (e.g. mobile bars), point of sale support and the Mastercellerman scheme to help showcase beer quality.
  • Be responsible for the business partners’ listings on the main St Austell Brewery website and where relevant, ensure that tenants can be promoted across the main business social channels.
  • Attend quarterly tenant round table events across the south west.
