Marketing Executive Job in Christchurch

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional to join our client’s marketing team! You’ll be working collaboratively to drive brand and product awareness, increase market penetration and ultimately boost sales across their portfolio of products. The firm works closely with the UK’s leading grocers & retailers and other large international clients, providing the right candidate with a unique opportunity to work on some great projects and directly contribute to the success of the company.

Your role will include working closely with the Head of Marketing to create and develop marketing plans, lead product launches, oversee digital marketing campaigns, and manage the marketing budget to maximise return on investment and achieve strategic goals.

What you’ll be doing as Marketing Executive:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company objectives, target audience insights and market trends to drive business growth.
  • Managing and enhancing the company’s brand image through effective brand positioning, messaging, and communication across various channels.
  • Leading product launches and awareness initiatives, including market research, product positioning and promotional activity.
  • Overseeing digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn and Instagram platforms, as well as retailer channels, to increase brand/product visibility and engagement.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for competitive differentiation.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, product development and design to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts in line with overall business objectives.
  • Managing marketing budgets effectively and optimising spending to maximise return on investment and achieve strategic goals.
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance metrics for each campaign including sales data and campaign performance to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage several projects simultaneously across the entire portfolio of product categories for national and international customers. You will also have exceptional attention to detail, be able to think outside the box and be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues, customers, and suppliers.

Minimum Requirements for the Marketing Executive:

  • Degree or CIM in Marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in marketing roles working with products
  • Have a track record of success in developing and executing marketing plans
  • Excellent visual and verbal presentation skills

Salary & Details:

  • £35,000 per annum with salary reviews
  • Yearly bonus structure (based on company targets)
  • 25 days holiday per annum, increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service and 30 days after 5 years’ service
