Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join a leading Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place, and also supporting other holding companies in different industries.

St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of investment and retirement products and financial solutions to a high-net-worth client base.

The role

We are seeking a driven and creative Marketing Executive, who specialises in using social media, campaigns and events (both virtual and in-person) to generate brand awareness, engagement and leads. You'll be creating social media content, managing campaigns, and planning/running events to achieve marketing goals.

You will be developing relationships with other business's, approaching decision makers and presenting our business proposal, and successfully appointing new Business Partners for the Business, and managing those relationships going forward.

Key Duties

  • Managing important lead generation projects, providing first class day-to-day marketing support to the Head of Marketing;
  • Manage the day-to-day account nurturing process to help onboard new practice partnerships;
  • Lead the implementation the practice's marketing strategy and content marketing plan to strengthen the relationship with existing clients and attracts prospective new clients;
  • Manage the practice's brand presence across approved channels including the website, socials, search and print;
  • Create and maintain adverts and advertising material, including the distribution to clients and new prospects;
  • Support the Head of Marketing with the end-to-end management of client events;
  • Ownership of the weekly and monthly lead reporting function, evaluating and measuring the effectiveness all marketing campaigns and produce relevant management information with which to inform future strategies;
  • Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents in Canva;
  • Creating and interpreting a variety of reports within Salesforce, a key focus on key marketing campaigns;
  • Organising and planning the production of all major marketing materials by working closely with printers and other involved parties.
  • Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company
  • Maintaining a database of potential clients by collecting contact information such as names and phone numbers
  • Document, track and monitor all leads and activities in our CRM;
  • Coordinating with other departments within the company so that all leads are followed up on and dealt with appropriately
  • Prepare reports, weekly and monthly, to divulge appointments
  • Creating and developing strong strategies to develop opportunities to work with other Business's
  • Approaching and calling other Business's to introduce our business proposal, with the end goal to be booking appointments with the Partner
  • Developing strong relationships with decision makers and other operators through regular contact with key influencers
  • Presenting our Business proposal to other Business's
  • Contributing towards team success; recommending improvements to systems and processes where necessary;
  • To support research to identify new markets and customer needs;
  • Report on data and present back to the team;
  • Using social media to build relationships with potential clients;
  • Work closely with the rest of the marketing department to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant prospects.

Knowledge and experience

  • 2 years of marketing/lead generation experience preferred;
  • Financial advice industry experience is preferred but not essential
  • Good level of IT literacy is essential, as you'll be required to document your sales activity and pipelines in a CRM system
