Success Recruit are currently working with a premium business in the travel & hospitality sector, with offices based in Thurrock who are currently seeking a Marketing Executive (online) to join their growing, passionate team.

The successful candidate will work within the heart of the Marketing Team; They will oversee the online marketing side of the business, working on multiple online campaigns across a variety of digital platforms.

The successful Marketing Executive expectations:

  • Ideally hold a degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing or a related field
  • A working knowledge of website CRMs, HTML, and Google Analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Capable of working on multiple tasks at once, prioritising time effectively

Job Specification

Purpose of the role:

The Marketing Executive will support the Head of Marketing - planning and delivering compelling online content that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives. This role requires a good understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools, along with excellent communication & analytical skills.

The ideal candidate will be confident, well-organised, resourceful, and full of energy.

Duties to include but not limited to…

  • Create, measure, analyse, and optimize online marketing programs. Working closely with commercial and external agencies to achieve marketing goals.
  • Deploy highly effective online marketing programs, including integrated campaigns, blogs, online advertising, landing pages CMS implementation, lead management processes and more.
  • Support in implementing new Content Management System and UX design.
  • Content management of the website and CMS - monitoring website behaviour and customer experience analysis.
  • Prepare and propose ideas for new digital content to relay to the team
  • Responsible for marketing automation, increasing operational efficiency by putting tools in place for driving lead generation.
  • Create and maintain an online marketing lead database and CRM system.
  • Evaluate, document, and recommend marketing tools/processes that will impact revenue and brand awareness online.
  • Ensure all marketing communications conform to Ambassador’s brand guidelines.
  • Attend events when required (travel may be involved.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate marketing professional/graduate looking to further their career in the industry. This position is ideal for someone who is seeking a challenge and enjoys a varied work environment within a team environment.

Previous experience in the travel industry is desirable, however, not essential.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm (hybrid wfh)

Salary: Up to £30k per annum (DOE)
