Marketing Executive - Birmingham: £28k - £35k

COMPANY

A multi award-winning, natural haircare brand is looking to hire its first Marketing Executive.

The business has received significant investment and is on a fast-track growth plan to reach £10m turnover.

Whilst the Head Office is in the fashionable area of the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, West Midlands, this is a hybrid role so applicants may be based anywhere within commutable distance to spend just 4 days a week in the office.

ROLE

In this prestigious role, you will be working closely with the CEO as the Marketing Executive and will have total creative responsibility for the marketing proposition, delivering all marketing activities.

PERSON

Must haves

  • Hands on, creative and able to work on own initiative
  • Online Marketing experience, working for a retail brand (health and beauty sector or FMCG)
  • Ability to build out solid social media strategy on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.
  • Google / Meta verified
  • Experience of growing a business using Shopify
  • Video editing skills
  • Dynamic and willing to work at a fast-growing startup with changing priorities
  • Deep understanding of traditional marketing mix as well as digital marketing
  • Willingness and ability to commute to Birmingham (Jewellery Quarter) 4 days per week
  • Good time keeping

Desirable

  • A degree in Marketing, related subject OR professional qualifications such as CIM
  • Experience of growing UK online retail revenue from £100k to £500k upwards from a marketing perspective
  • Successfully launched a brand internationally

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter / West Midlands area to make their mark at a growing and well-funded startup in the health and beauty retail sector.

Whilst this role is being advertised as Marketing Executive, it may also suit people who currently have the job title Channel Marketing, Brand Marketing, Marketing Manager, Content Marketing, Media Marketing, Communications or Digital Marketing.

You might also be involved as a Design Executive, in Marketing Operations, Marketing Planning and Analytics, Affiliates, eCommerce, Offline Marketing or Marketing Strategy.
