Marketing and Business Development Manager (Full or Part-time) 12 month maternity cover

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Business Development Manager to provide 12 months maternity cover for a leading European law firm. In this position you will join a stable and existing team. This position is open to a full time employee or a part time employee working 4 days per week. The firm offer hybrid working.

The people management element of the role will be key, however there is a lot of coordination, facilitation and supporting in this position.

In this role you will support multiple stakeholders within the business, to deliver tailored experiences to meet the needs of each client providing partners the very best support and resources when it comes to marketing themselves and the firm.

Reporting into the Director of Marketing & BD, your duties will include; Line management/mentoring of junior team members including two senior executives and one assistant. Management of the day to day running of the Marketing & BD department being the first point of contact for queries and delegating tasks. Being the point of contact for client pitches and overseeing the design and production of pitch documents and marketing material. Assist in new business development campaigns, cross selling activity, manage trips and conferences, internal and external events, web, socials and intranet content and marketing. related content for the firms intranet.

For this position we are seeking someone with significant experience in marketing, communications or business development related roles within a professional services setting, ideally within a law firm or LPP. You will also have people management experience within a Marketing or Business Development department. In return the firm is offering a salary of £65,000 plus excellent benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
