- Running automated test site (Operator)
- Performing manual test (Operator/Technician)
- Proofreading test instructions (Technicians)
- Authoring test instructions (Engineers)
- Diagnosing product faults (Engineers)
- Integrating new products into manufacturing (Principal Engineers)
- Qualifications in a STEM subject and/or an apprenticeship (as each role has different requirements please ensure your qualifications are present on your CV/covering letter).
- Experience of using both manual and automated test equipment.
- A good understanding of electrical/electronic measurement and test principles and test equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and knowing when to employ which.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fault diagnosis techniques for electronic/electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Familiar with enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution system programs (e.g. SAP, MES) for recording test activities and generating non-conformance reports and concessions.
- The ability to plan and organise own work in order to ensure multiple tasks can be prioritised and delivered against Project objectives.
- Experience in generation of test specifications, operator instructions and technical reports based on higher-level requirements.
