The company develops products with an innovative design, aiming to produce lighter and safer vehicles, in turn, it offers lower energy consumption and a lower environmental impact.

Your new role
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing engineering activity's for the plant, ensuring the completion of projects/improvements to the highest standard within an extremely tight schedule, by effective planning. You will also be contributing towards improvements in both efficiency and costs. The remit covers all aspects of engineering management - Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, taking part in People Management and development & maintenance planning, liaison with external / internal customers, suppliers and with all other departments within the Company.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the application for the Manufacturing Engineer role, you will be expected to have the following skills and knowledge:

• Manufacturing experience, ideally automotive manufacturing experience
• Firm knowledge of CAD and Autodesk products
• Experience of Risk Assessment, FMEAs and Six Sigma
• Understanding of technical knowledge, i.e. robotic (ABB), welding processes and Basic Lean Principles

What you'll get in return
Upon securing the Manufacturing Engineer role, you will be offered a salary of up to £47,000, depending upon your experience. In addition to your salary you'll also receive a number of benefits.
