Manufacturing Engineer
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a fast growing highly regulated manufacturing business, to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) for their factory in Sheffield.

The opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join the team to provide support to the business in relation to Engineering, providing a high-quality service to the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be required to successfully implement machining strategies in order to manufacture components to customer specification.
The role:
• Create Manufacturing Methods.
• Produce CNC programs using Siemens NX.
• Simulation of CNC Programs using Vericut.
• Provide technical support and expertise to the production team.
• Produce technical production documentation, SOP’s, Tooling sheets, inspection sheets etc.
• Design and development of work holding methods including technical drawings.
• Understanding of measurement methods and techniques.
• Interpretation of technical drawings.
• Provide technical support to projects and commercial teams.
• Perform any other duties which may be reasonably associated with the job in order to meet the needs of the company.
The successful candidate
• Highly motivated individual.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Degree/ Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years industrial experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC Machining.
• 3 to 5 years CAD / CAM experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
