Manufacturing Engineer

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will support the production by developing and improving processes. To provide full process and quality engineering support with focus on "built in quality" for legacy and new product introductions.

The role will involve:

• Fast turnaround and corrective action for Process/Quality issues affecting production.
• Ensure that all new products are verified as production ready prior to production release, this includes all aspects including safety, cost, manufacturability, process capability etc.
• Support the production of new and legacy products being manufactured in production/pre production and take direct responsibility for updating routings, manufacturing and process instructions / tooling etc to be in line with best method of manufacture.
• Support designated production and assembly areas and take ownership for close out of process issues raised either to support customer delivery and or improve process.

To be successful in this role of Manufacturing Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

• BEng level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Scientific subject
• Process Engineering experience
• Manufacturing or Production experience
• Practical problem-solving skills and track record of Quality KPI improvement as a result
• Process control and new process implementation skills
• Lean manufacturing and continuous Improvement implementation / skills
