My client is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Cell Leader to join their manufacturing company based in Devizes. The company manufacture precision parts, primarily serving the automotive, aerospace and power generation industries supplying a worldwide customer base.

The company has three sites within the Southwest of England, one in Bath and two in Devizes and this position will be located within the Automotive division based in Devizes.

The role:

Within the role of Manufacturing Cell Leader, you will support and supervise a team running, setting and maintaining bespoke machinery used in the manufacturing of our clients products. Other duties will involve supporting the monitoring of production output, schedule management, product quality assurance and ensuring that all operators are fully employed, working efficiently and safely.

Candidate Specification:

  • Supervisory experience within a similar role within manufacturing
  • Experience within a machine setting role
  • Experience in using measuring equipment
  • Able to interpret process specifications and engineering drawings
  • An approach to work which seeks Continuous Improvement in all activities
  • Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001 an advantage

The role will involve working a day shift Monday to Friday, although you will be required to be flexible with hours as and when required.
