MANUAL TESTER - INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT - OUTSIDE IR35
Loriens Leading public sector client is looking for a experienced Manual Tester with experience testing specifically on Java.
Essential skills:
- Technology knowledge - good experience of (last 2 years):
- Best Practice test approaches
- Proficient around Linux based environments
- AWS environment experience
- Mariadb/Mysql experience
- Agile testing principles
- Bug reporting
- Defect tracking
- Self-management and proactive risk assessed decision making
- Demonstrable experience in Java, Selenium and Cucumber test creations (create tests in feature files)
- Build and maintain relationships with business SME's and wider release test team.
- Able to make decisions characterised by managed levels of risk and complexity and recommend decisions as risk and complexity increase.
Desirable Skills:
- Governance
- Understands government requirements of governance, auditability and accountability
- Experience of working within a Government facing position
- Automation
- Hands on experience of working within a test team writing automation tests
- Experience of running automated smoke and regression tests on deployed environments
