Manual QA Test Analyst

Robert Half Technology are assisting a global payment company to recruit for a Manual QA Test Analyst on 12 month contract, paying £300-£400 per day to start ASAP

Role

• The Manual QA Test Analyst will be responsible for defining the testing requirements for releases and projects in the QA environment.
• Responsible for estimating time required to perform testing activities.
• Responsible for writing test case documentation, defining test data, running test cases, and reviewing results.
• Responsible for logging, tracking, and re-testing of defects through to resolution working closely with company outsourced development partner.
• Develop a business testing framework with related test cases, with the view to structure testing activities and make them as efficient as possible.
• Execute testing in QA environment.
• Where required, executes regression testing of production activities to ensure no impact to production activities.
• Performs QA environment change controls required before changes are deployed to production.
• Supporting company IT Security governance as accredited by IS0 27001.

Profile

• The Manual QA Test Analyst will have at least three years' experience in a testing role.
• c3-5 years' experience as a QA Test Analyst
• Strong understanding of financial services and working capital solutions.
• Strong familiarity of Java, SAP core and related solutions.
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience of using Atlassian products (Jira, Test Rail, Confluence)
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• An analytical approach to administration processes and an ability to identify and implement improvements for such processes.
