We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Machinist to join our growing Engineering & Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to meet our production goals.

Description
- Set up and operate various manual and CNC machines according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Inspect completed work for defects and ensure conformance to specifications
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Work closely with the engineering team to resolve production issues
- Follow health and safety regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Profile
A successful Machinist should have:
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
