Who You'll Be Working for: An international bank

Mandarin speaking Accountant - What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Finance & Accounting Department, Management & Information Department of Parent Bank;
  • To prepare the quarterly and annual reports as requested by the Ministry of Finance in China;
  • To prepare the tax reports requested by HMRC, including Corporate Tax Return, QIP, CATA, Bank Surcharge, DPT & anti-hybrid, BEPS local file, BBSI, and Bank levy;
  • To be responsible for the annual tax return information for Branch as per Parent Bank’s requirement;
  • To assist in the preparation of statutory account;
  • To assist in the maintenance of accounts related standing data of FOVA and its sub-systems;
  • To assist in the automation of the reports within FC and monitoring the progress with Parent Bank IT development centre;
  • To fulfil other duties allocated by Head and/or Senior Finance Manager of FC.

Mandarin speaking Accountant -The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Solid written and verbal skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Degree or similar qualification in Finance or Accounting;
  • Financial reporting roles over 2 years, preferably for Banking experience;
  • Manipulates data to prepare the financial reporting (basic Excel required);
  • Manages operational risk by building strong processes and quality control routines;
  • Seeks to understand end to end processes;
  • Effectively manages time and follows through on commitments;
  • Balances close attention to detail with focus on broader context;

Working hours: 9 to 5
