Reed Construction are delighted to be working for a successful contractor with a Contractor seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor.

This successful well-established Contractor is renowned for working with large clients on long term frameworks in the Property, refurbishment, and maintenance sector.

This role offers the chance to work with an established team on long-term frameworks overseeing a diverse range of projects from reactive and planned maintenance to small works, with budgets ranging from £10k to £1 million.

Day to Day of the Role:

Pricing and cost management from inception to final accounts.

Working on contracts including JCT, Schedule of rates, and others.

Collaborating with a friendly team in a busy office environment and managing a small team in the Commercial department.

Conducting site visits and client meetings generally once a week.

Working alongside an experienced operations team and maintaining good long-term relationships with clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Property, refurbishment, and maintenance sector.

Familiarity with a variety of contracts, including JCT and Schedule of rates.

Strong pricing and cost management skills.

Ability to manage a team of Surveyors of varying experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to conduct site visits and engage with clients and team members.
