SPR are proud to be recruiting for a Managing Director on a full time, permanent basis, located in the Walsall area.

The ManagingDirector will be responsible for the continuous development and execution of the sales and strategy for the business. The role involves ensuring a dynamic sales culture to drive continuous strong growth across the SPR client base.

The ideal candidate for this role will display excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure. This candidate will be competent in the use of technology with excellent IT skills.

Working Instructions of the Managing Director:
  • Hours: 40 Hours Per Week – out of hours working may be required for networking events or evening meetings etc.
  • Salary: £60,000 Per Annum
  • Location: West Midlands

Essential Requirements:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in staffing and recruiting at senior management level.
  • An understanding of the key legislation with regards to GDPR, health and safety, and employment law
  • Experience of leading on risk assessments and continuous improvement activities
  • Demonstratable track record of success.

Main Role and Responsibilities of the Managing Director:
  • Direct responsibility for achieving the company budgeted sales targets and cost budget.
  • To develop and present to market, with the support of the wider SPR and Steps to Work teams, SPR’s Recruitment proposition and build a thriving portfolio of clients.
  • You will direct, motivate, and inspire the company to achieve short, medium, and long-term goals.
  • Ensure all operations remain compliant.
  • To produce regular and accurate management information using an array of internal systems and software.
  • Attend an array of appropriate events and seminars and act as a positive ambassador for Starting Point Recruitment and the wider organisation at all times.
  • To deliver a profitable and efficient Recruitment business
  • Produce and deliver achievable growth plans, achieve multiple KPIs and income and profitability targets.
  • When appropriate; recruit and onboard Business Development Consultants and grow the business to deliver challenging profitability targets.
  • You will be available as a key point of contact for escalation of any issues that may arise day-to-day.
  • To ensure that you remain up to date with all required internal training.
  • Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role.
