To do this, they need thinkers, tinkerers, passionate software craftspeople and inspiring technologists to help them solve these challenges. They believe software and data are at the core of every business and remain primarily a people and team-driven activity. This means every business needs a critical scale of its own permanent people for it to be great at software and data. A desire to move away from hands-on solution delivery into an advisory role, building strong relationships and using your expertise and experience to deliver world-class outcomes for their clients.
Experience in vendor assessment and platform implementation, especially across content management, commerce, ERP systems, and data platforms.
An understanding of existing and emerging technology strategies for solving complex technical challenges and strong experience in the delivery lifecycle of software and technology platforms.
Recent demonstrable experience of working alongside and supporting senior business and technology stakeholders to understand their challenges and the proposed routes forward, ideally including presenting to the C-Suite and building business cases for change.
Ability to challenge and complement existing thinking, providing a fresh viewpoint and well-rounded solution by asking the right questions, especially when pitching to new clients.
Strong Leadership experience in the software delivery life cycle and a solid background and understanding of code and good solution architecture.
Strong interpersonal skills, connecting effectively with stakeholders and developing empathy with their needs so that you can influence and get buy-in for new ideas at a senior level.
