We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Management Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, and various ad hoc projects.

Client Details

This is a large healthcare trust based in Greater Manchester. The organisation offers a wide range of health and community-based services.

Description

The key responsibilities of aManagement Accounts Assistantwill include, but may not be limited to;

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Supporting the budgeting process.
  • Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Preparing accruals and prepayments.
  • Providing financial information and reports for management.
  • Participating in various ad hoc finance projects.
  • Supporting the finance team with daily tasks.

Profile

A successful Management Accounts Assistant should have:

  • Public Sector and Government background desirable.
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to commute to Bury.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
