Management Accounting Analyst - Prestigious International Bank
Are you an experienced accountant seeking a dynamic role within the banking sector?
We are seeking a talented individual to join our clients Finance team as a Management Accounting Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior management by delivering comprehensive financial analysis and collaborating closely with various business units to identify trends and offer valuable insights. This role is based in West End, London, with the requirement to work in the office three days per week. The bank will sponsor you to become a part-qualified/ qualified accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting.
- Prepare daily Profit and Loss (P/L) and Balance Sheet (BS).
- Generate Weekly Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) forecast for Group Head Office.
- Support monthly and annual P/L Forecast preparation.
- Conduct various monthly reporting tasks including Flash, Forecast, and FX Consolidation.
- Manage accounting for expenses through journal entries.
- Complete monthly Cost Centre reports and provide essential management information.
- Assist in annual budgeting process.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Provide holiday cover for Accounts Payable (AP).
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the in-house Equation system.
- Offer support to other departments regarding finance-related queries.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of management accounting experience in the banking sector.
- Proficient in Excel, with a proven ability to build complex spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with General Ledgers and Management Information (MI) systems.
