As the Management Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial landscape. Here’s what awaits you:

1. Financial Leadership: Oversee a finance department of six talented individuals.

2. Systems Modernisation: The accounts department needs an upgrade. Your mission? Transform manual processes into streamlined systems. Integration is the name of the game.

3. Strategic Insights: The directors crave data-driven insights. Margins, costings, pricing—your reports will guide their decisions. Your analytical prowess will be their compass.

4. Payroll: Bring payroll back in-house. 

5. Management Accounts: The management accounts? Yes, they’re coming home. Your precision will keep them shipshape.

6. Sage Optimisation: Sage has been implemented, but it needs your finesse. Automation, efficiency, and accuracy—your mission awaits.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Financial Expertise: Ideally, you will have similar experience in a Management Accountant/Systems Accountant/Project Accountant 

• Commercial Acumen: Robust commercial or manufacturing/engineering experience is highly valued.

• Excel Proficiency: Pivot tables, macros, and formulas—your Excel skills are top-notch.

Based near Stowmarket 

Salary depending on experience Circa 40-50K however could be negotiable for the right skills, experience and qualifications 

Onsite role - some flex can be given for appointments/delivery's but is contractually office based 

Opening hours are from 7am-6pm, offering flexibility with your start and finish time
