Management Accountant – Grimsby – Competitive Salary  

Chase & Holland have the exciting opportunity to be exclusively partnering with a PE backed, fast-paced logistics and distribution business based in Grimsby, who are looking to recruit an experienced and results driven Management Accountant for a newly created role due to business growth. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a fast growing, acquisitive business and develop with them.

Reporting into the Finance Director, the role will include (but not be limited to):
  • Responsible for multi-site management accounts reporting and MI Reporting
  • Review and prepare group management and financial reporting including preparation of information for the board pack
  • Business partner the Site Managers to support them in driving efficiencies
  • Producing financial and MI reporting to support with strategic decision making and various upcoming projects including tender negotiations and potential acquisitions
  • Assist with reviewing and developing the management accounts reporting pack and MI reporting to improve awareness
  • Continuous improvement mentality. A natural passion for developing systems, controls and processes to support with updated regulations and business growth
  • Budget and cost control management including liaising with various stakeholders to drive efficiencies
  • Cashflow and bank reporting
  • Fixed asset management and stock reporting
  • Supporting with the management of the busy transactional accounts team
The ideal candidate will be:
  • ACCA/ CIMA Qualified, later stages PQ or Qualified By Experience
  • A credible, results driven individual who has a continuous improvement mentality
  • IT literate including strong excel and ERP systems experience
  • Commercially astute Management Accountant with a proven track record
  • A service focused individual, who is a problem solver and driven to add value
  • Analytical approach and confident to use your own initiative
  • Ability to turn complex data into an understandable form
  • Ability to thrive in a team and build strong working relationships
