Management Accountant

Robert Half are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for a national business based in Newport.

The successful candidate will act as a key financial point of contact across various lines of business, and provide full financial support on areas such as month end, budgeting and forecasting, capital expenditure, producing management information and reports.

Location: Newport

Annual Salary: £40,000 - £47,500 + discretionary bonus up to 10%

Office / WFH: Hybrid working 2/3 days alternating weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take a lead on all month end related duties
• Prepare accruals
• Revenue recognition
• Provide commentary for all financial reports
• Variance analysis of actual vs forecast vs budget
• Prepare management information reports on a monthly basis
• Produce annual budgets
• Consolidation of forecasts on a monthly basis
• Support with all investment projects
• Provide commentary on all capital expenditure projects

Your Profile:

• Part-Qualified, Finalist, Newly-Qualified or QBE Accountant
• Experience using ERP systems
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent communicator
• Previous Business Partnering experience
• Plans & organises their own work effectively
• Possess the ability to engage with colleagues at a variety of levels
