Management Accountant

Robert Half is delighted to exclusively collaborate with a rapidly expanding, acquisition-driven SME backed by Private Equity in the search for a highly skilled Management Accountant. This newly appointed position, situated in Solihull, offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role within the finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. With regular engagement with the Group FD and CFO, the selected candidate will have the chance to make a substantial impact in a dynamic and evolving business environment.

Role: Management Accountant

Location: Solihull

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on site)

Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Full ownership of month-end Management Accounts for 2 subsidiaries.

End-to-end responsibility for P&L and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

Finance Business Partnering with the Managing Directors of each subsidiary.

Preparation of Variance Analysis, Commentary, Budgets, and Forecasts.

Collaboration with a Finance Team of 10, actively contributing to the team's success.

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant, (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Degree 2:1 or above

Proven experience as a Management Accountant.

Robust, Fast-Paced, and Agile mindset.

Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and adapt to a growing environment.

Strong communication skills for effective business partnering.

Desire to contribute to wider aspects of the accounting team.
